The 1911 story
The 1911 is Sailor's signature cigar-shaped fountain pen, named after the year the company was founded in Japan. The Casual L Stable, launched in February 2026, takes the full-sized 1911L silhouette in PMMA resin, adds a weighted brass grip section, and pairs it with a hand-finished steel nib tuned to feel closer to a gold nib, in soft, muted colours with gold trim.
